
On the first day of their final year, seniors from across Alvin ISD high schools gathered early to watch the sunrise together, marking the start of an unforgettable milestone. The tradition offered students a moment to reflect on their journey so far, share laughs with friends, and look forward to the exciting year ahead.

The Shadow Creek and Savannah Lakes SeaPerch robotics teams competed earlier this month in the International SeaPerch competition in Maryland!
The Shadow Creek Sushi Farmers earned 5th place out of the best 70 high school teams in the world while Savannah Lakes' Peanut Butter and Jelly Fish finished 38 in its division!



Today, Superintendent Carol Nelson had the honor of speaking at the Northern Brazoria County Chamber of Commerce’s State of Public Education luncheon.
Mrs. Nelson shared how Alvin ISD is committed to creating tailored learning experiences for each student, every day, ensuring that all learners are supported, challenged, and prepared for success.
Thank you to the Chamber for highlighting the critical role public education plays in shaping our community’s future.

EC Mason 3rd graders wrapped up their economics unit this week with a Market Day! They became entrepreneurs, selling crafts like flower pens & maracas, and took on the role of customers as they budgeted their play money to shop smart!




The future of education is bright! 🌟 Congrats to Manvel HS seniors in the Ready, Set, Teach program!
They completed the Teaching & Training CTE Pathway and earned each earned a letter of intent for a future interview with the district!





They’ve done it again—congrats to Shadow Creek HS, McNair JH, and Brothers for keeping the Highest Attendance trophies!
Congrats to Manvel HS, Manvel JH, and Stevenson for hustling to claim the top spots for Most Improved!
