Alvin ISD has once again been named a CTE District of Distinction by the Career and Technical Association of Texas!
For the second consecutive year, the Alvin ISD Career & Technical Education program earned the recognition for its commitment to preparing students for success in college, careers and beyond.
The award celebrates districts that demonstrate innovative programs, strong leadership and meaningful industry partnerships.
"We are thrilled to be recognized by the Career & Technical Association of Texas as a CTAT CTE District of Distinction. I am incredibly proud of Alvin ISD, our supportive Board, our dedicated educators, industry partners, and talented students whose daily commitment to excellence made this distinction possible," said Brandy Johanson, Executive Director of CTE and Advanced Learning.
"This honor reflects our mission to expand student horizons by providing high-quality, hands-on learning, valuable industry credentials, and real-world pathways that equip every learner for success in college, high-demand careers, and life beyond graduation."
