Alvin ISD is proud to announce that eleven outstanding students have been recognized as National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists. This prestigious honor is awarded to high school students who scored among the highest in the nation on the PSAT/NMSQT their junior year, representing the top 1% of test takers.

From Shadow Creek High School, the following students earned this recognition:

National Merit Semifinalists now have the opportunity to continue in the competition for National Merit Finalist standing and earn scholarships that will be announced in the spring.

This recognition is not only a testament to their individual dedication but also a reflection of the support of their families, teachers, and school communities,” shared Superintendent Carol Nelson.
