Alvin ISD is proud to announce that eleven outstanding students have been recognized as National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists. This prestigious honor is awarded to high school students who scored among the highest in the nation on the PSAT/NMSQT their junior year, representing the top 1% of test takers.

National Merit Semifinalists now have the opportunity to continue in the competition for National Merit Finalist standing and earn scholarships that will be announced in the spring.
