Lion King Jr. rehearsals have started! Miss Scott, the music director is working with the ensemble on the opening number. Our Choreographer, Mrs. Bell is working with students on the stampede dance. Finally, a student is working with the Director, Mrs. Kiekel-Strouts on ASL as we work towards making our musical more inclusive. This year, not only will our show feature amazing acting and singing but every song will be presented in ASL as we work on creating Alvin’s first Shadow Show. A Shadow show is where American Sign Language is presented not just off to the side but within the action on stage with all the performers.
