Congratulations to Jannie Cardenas and Jessica Cardenas for qualifying for the UIL 6A State Cross Country Championships. Jannie placed 6th overall and Jessica placed 11th overall at the Region 3 Cross Country Champoinships to punch their ticket to the State Meet on November 1st. Hoka Hey!

Congratulations to the Lady Mavs Cross Country team for placing 2nd over all at the District 22-6A Meet Thursday, October 9th. The Lady Mavs have punched their ticket to the Region 3 Cross Country Championships. Placing in the top 10 were Jannie Cardenas (2nd), Jessica Cardenas (3rd) and Danna Ramirez (8th). Rounding out the team is Nu Nu York-Westbrook, Aaliyah Ejiasi, Kara Igo and Mirey Hirtz.
On the boys side, Nathaniel Hubenak placed 2nd overall and will represent the Mavericks at the Region 3 Cross Country Championships as well. Hoka Hey!
