The Majestics started the season off attending Marching Auxiliaries Dance Line Camp in San Antonio. The team was awarded Grand Champion for their final day performance. They also received an outstanding technique and an outstanding work ethic award. Congratulations Majestics!

As our families prepare for back to school, we wanted to give a quick reminder on Alvin ISD's Cell Policy.
The district permits students to possess personal cell phone for safety purposes.
Smart watches (including Fit Bits), earbuds (including Air Pods), headphones, mobile game consoles and all other electronic devices are not permitted.
Cell phones must be remain powered off and stored away during the instructional day, including during all testing, unless they are being used for approved instructional purposes.
Over the coming weeks, we'll spend some time focusing on why AISD finds it necessary to limit cell phone and smart device use during the school day.

As we prepare to welcome students back to MHS in August, we will have some new faces in the counseling department. Please welcome Mrs. Carlene Leal and Mr. Sherman Parker to Mav Nation.
Hoka Hey Shoutout to our JV and Varsity Cheer who competed at NCA Camp this week. JV took home 6 awards & Varsity took home 4 awards. The Mascots took home 3 awards. McKinley Smith was awarded the Top All American Medal for receiving the highest All American score at Camp!
