The Winter Dance/Open Gym is this Friday from 6-8 pm. Tickets are on sale during all lunches for $5; $7 at the door. ID badges are REQUIRED! If the badge has been lost, a replacement must be purchased for $5 in the front office.
TSI Test registration is open for the January 15 test. Counselors have the registration packets. TSI is required for all students who enroll in dual credit classes in high school.

Congratulations to the 6th graders for having the most attendance on our AJH skate night. They won a pajama day for 11/22/24. All other grade levels are to be in dress code or camo/animal print for camo dress out day.

Our annual fundraiser provides vital support to families in need, help provide incentives as well as ensuring that our students have resources and materials for a successful school year. Communities in Schools offers some great things for our students. Pastries Club made mini cupcakes last week. During lunch groups students created gratitude trees and wrote what they are thankful for on the leaves.
Reminder for Alvin ISD families, Thanksgiving Break will be November 25-29. There will be no classes for students and the district will be closed. School will resume on Monday, December 2.

AJH will honor Veterans on Monday, November 11 with a breakfast for Veterans and their AJH student and a school-wide assembly. Breakfast will begin at 8 AM and the assembly will follow. Students may submit a form to honor all Veterans in their family to the library to be displayed for Veterans Day. (color copies of the form are available in the library)
