
Communities in Schools offers some great things for our students. Pastries Club made mini cupcakes last week. During lunch groups students created gratitude trees and wrote what they are thankful for on the leaves.










Reminder for Alvin ISD families, Thanksgiving Break will be November 25-29. There will be no classes for students and the district will be closed. School will resume on Monday, December 2.
We hope everyone has a safe and happy break!


Turkey Feathers Drive going on now! Buy feathers in the cafeteria before school and at all lunches! Who will win and wear the turkey costume?

Save the Date! AJH Skate Night - November 19, 5-8 pm. The grade that has the most students participating wins a pajama day (date to be announced later).


AJH will honor Veterans on Monday, November 11 with a breakfast for Veterans and their AJH student and a school-wide assembly. Breakfast will begin at 8 AM and the assembly will follow. Students may submit a form to honor all Veterans in their family to the library to be displayed for Veterans Day. (color copies of the form are available in the library)
