All this week we are celebrating along side our friends at SCHS for homecoming. Today was Twin Day, and we definitely had some cute twinning going on. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Recently our Wilder Student Council held their annual induction ceremony. Congratulations to all our members, old & new. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Congrats to Mrs. Hancock's 3rd-graders, who are last week's Beanstack logging winners. These students logged almost 1,000 minutes. Way to go, students. Ms. Macias's students were sad to lose the poster after earning it two weeks in a row.#WIlderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Thank you to everyone for coming out last night to our Open House. We had hundreds of families visit and explore the work our students have been doing during the first nine weeks. We love having our families and friends on campus because we are so proud of the hard work and dedication of our teachers, staff, and most importantly, our students. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

This week, we are celebrating our amazing custodial staff. Without these four incredible people, we'd be in a mess. Ms. Maria cares for our students throughout the day, taking care of our restrooms, cafeteria, and everything that spills throughout the day. Then, after school, Ms. Esmerelda, Ms. JiJi, and Mr. Dave come in and make our classrooms and hallways look brand new for the next day. This year, our teachers and staff created customized gift bags filled with goodies that make each of their hearts smile. Thanks again to these incredible men and women for all they do behind the scenes. #WIlderWolves #BuidlingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

We want to give a huge shout-out to our incredible custodians on Custodian Appreciation Day! Thank you for all your hard work in keeping our spaces safe, clean, and welcoming every single day. We are so grateful for everything you do, Ms Maria, Ms. Esmerelda, Mr. Dave, and Ms. JiJi. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

In October, our Wilder Wolf community has an opportunity to donate items to the Military Moms and Wives of Brazoria County as they prepare for the annual holiday packages in November. All students, staff, and community members are welcome to participate and contribute to making life a little bit easier for those serving abroad. Being away from home during the holidays can be difficult for some, and receiving an unexpected package with your name on it is always a welcome distraction. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

We'll see all of our Wilder Wolves on Tuesday. Please remember to arrive at the drop-off line by 7:45 to ensure your student is in the building by 8:00. Late arrivals begin at 8:01. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Congratulations to our Wolf of the Week, Mrs. James. She has a heart of gold, loves hard & is always willing to help our little Wolves succeed. Congrats Mrs. James! #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

To say we're proud would be an understatement. Elementary teachers lay the foundation for students, and when we see our Wilder alum climbing mountains and accomplishing great things, we are still incredibly proud of them. It is clear that these students still adhere to our Wilder pledge by being: independent learners, dedicated, enthusiastic, and respectful. Congratulations, Amara, Jacob, Karthik, and Lillian - once a Wilder Wolf, always a Wilder Wolf. #WIlderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Picture Day was a success. Our Wolves were dressed for success and had the best smiles for the photographers. #WIlderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Shout out to our amazing Wilder Wolves. Now, if we could just get all those book readers to log all their minutes in Beanstack, we'd be golden! Mrs. Sullivan is so proud of you guys! This averages out to approximately 8 books per student since the start of the school year. Keep reading & leading Wolves. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

This morning, Mrs. Marz, Mr. Riley, and Ms. Price held their first Coffee & Conversation series with families. Today, the topic of conversation focused on dealing with Conflicts and Bullying. The inaugural group was small, but the conversation was heartfelt and genuine. Thanks to those who attended, and special thanks to our Admin Team for providing these opportunities for our Wilder community. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Today, our Kindergarten friends got to play all sorts of fun instruments during music class with Mrs. Ball. Students were learning a new song about autumn, and each activity had a different instrument to represent it. From picking apples, raking leaves, picking pumpkins, going on a hayride, and zipping up your jacket. Such a fun and engaging lesson, Mrs. Ball, and great job listening for instructions, boys and girls. We definitely have some future band and orchestra players amongst them. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Thanks Joy for helping a friend who needed some assistance with tying his shoes this afternoon at dismissal. When you see someone who needs help; do it! #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Don't forget Thursday is picture day at Wilder. Dress to impress and be ready with your smile. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Earlier today, while at recess, Ms. Valle's 3rd graders found a baby yellow-bellied slider turtle on the playground. This is another example of Wilder being an Animal Kingdom this year. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Congratulations to our newly elected Student Council officers. This year, our students ran very respectful elections and did a great job of supporting one another, whether they won or lost. Outstanding job, #WilderWolves! We're so proud! #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinALvinISD

Congratulations to 2nd-grade teacher, Ms. Clinton, for being our Wolf of the Week. She always has a smile on her face and a song in her heart. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

This week, Mrs. Sullivan is reading the book Gifts from the Garbage Truck: A True Story About the Things We (Don't) Throw Away by Andrew Larson and Oriol Vidal. The book tells the fantastic story of a New York sanitation worker, Nelson Molina, and his Treasures in the Trash museum in East Harlem, where he grew up, worked, retired, and still lives today. Nelson collected over 45,000 items over his 34 years working for New York City, and has them all proudly displayed in the garage of the sanitation department. This book is a beautiful retelling of his life's mission to reuse, recycle, and upcycle things others have thrown away. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD
