Recently, Mrs. Roberts, a 5th-grade teacher, challenged her students with a fun writing assignment. Based on their birthday, they were given a completely useless superpower and had to write a story about how it could save the day. As you can imagine, the assignment drew some moans and groans, but by the time they finished, they were having a great time. We are so proud of these two Wolves who represented Wilder and Shadow Creek High School FFA at the Brazoria County Fair over fall break. 4th grader Rosie and her Polish doe, Posie, won first place in her class! Then 5th grader Madilyn and her Netherland Dwarf buck, Paul, won Best of Breed, and he was showcased all week! She also showed her Polish buck, Phillip, and won 3rd place in his class! If you've ever wanted to volunteer at Wilder, whether it be for a field trip, classroom guest reader, school day assistance, career day speaker, or Wolf Pack Dads, the district requires that you complete the volunteer registration form annually. Background checks don't happen overnight, so please plan ahead. If you have questions, please call the front office and speak with someone who can help.
