Let's celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Mr. Blackshear was making some more origami hatching chickens in PrimeTime earlier today. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Ms. Macias's 3rd graders logged more minutes in Beanstack than any other homeroom, so this week they've got the Beanstack trophy poster proudly hanging from their door. Great job, boys and girls! Ms. Macias also said she's going to keep that trophy poster for a long time, which sounds like a challenge to other homerooms. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

September is National Suicide Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness and remind ourselves that mental health is just as important as physical health. You are not alone, and it's okay to ask for help. Let's use this month to spread hope, start conversations, and reduce the stigma around mental health. A simple check-in with a friend or loved one can make all the difference.

Today, let's give a huge shout-out to the people who make our digital lives possible! From fixing a slow computer to keeping our networks secure, IT professionals are the backbone of every business and organization. They work tirelessly behind the scenes, solving complex problems and keeping our technology running smoothly. We are grateful to Mr. Chris Perdue for serving as our IT Professional at Wilder. We don't say it enough, but thank you, Chris! #WIlderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Don't forget to RSVP by the 19th for Coffee & Conversation with Mrs. Marz, Mr. Riley & of course Ms. Price. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Mr. Blackshear's PrimeTime 1st grader group created some origami hatching chickens in honor of National Chicken Month. What an awesome idea, Mr. Blackshear, and great job, 1st graders - #WIlderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Happy International Dot Day! Today, we're celebrating creativity, courage, and collaboration by making our mark. 🎨 Just like the little dot in Peter H. Reynolds' book, "The Dot," we're encouraging our students to be brave, express themselves, and see where their imagination takes them. What's your dot? #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

It's National Hispanic Heritage Month! Each September, we celebrate the history, culture, and contributions from Hispanic and Latino Americans that continue to inspire and shape our schools, our community, and our world!

This afternoon, we finally got to celebrate our summer reading challenge reward winners with Rollie's Frozen Custard at the end of the day. There was a lot of excitement, and Mrs. Sullivan didn't get everyone's picture, but I think it's fair to say everyone had a fantastic time with their sweet summer treat. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Congratulations to our Wolf of the Week, 3rd-grade teacher, Mrs. Hancock. Way to go!!!! #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Thanks, Mrs. Gillie, for sharing some more great pics of your students honoring those who died on September 11th. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Today, we wear red, white, and blue to remember and honor those we lost on September 11th. It's a day to reflect on the courage of first responders and the resilience of our nation. #WIlderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Don't forget to wear red, white & blue tomorrow for Patriots' Day. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Congrats to our first Beanstack weekly champions, Mrs. Abraham's 4th-grade homeroom. They read and logged more minutes in Beanstack last week than any other class. Who will get the poster next week? #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Once again, things got a little Wild at Wilder this morning. Luckily, Mrs. McCord saved Mrs. Abraham's 4th graders from being "attacked" by a lizard. Last week, Mr. Riley saved a second spider crawling in the 2nd-grade hallway. What in the world is happening? Are we turning into Wild Kingdom? We're grateful to the brave individuals who capture and release these little creatures. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Today, during Prime Time with Mr. Blackshear, some of our 3rd & 4th graders worked on team-building activities using architectural challenges and Legos. Great job, Mr. Blackshear and students. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Yesterday, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Alvin ISD at Freedom Field. It was such fun to see current students and alumni of all ages. Wilder was excited to be a part of this monumental celebration and truly appreciate all the countless hours behind the scenes that it took to pull an event like this off. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Congratulations to our Wolf of the Week, Ms. Tibbs. Ms. Tibbs is our new RLA Resource Teacher, and she is doing a phenomenal job. Keep up the great work, ma'am, and congratulations on your award. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD

Today, for our Flashback Friday, we are honoring one of our long-time teachers and math instructional coaches, Mr. Ralph Presley. Mr. Presley has been at Wilder since the doors opened in 2007. He is the father of two Wilder Wolves, was an Alvin ISD Teacher of the Year, and has had several former students go on to become valedictorians at Shadow Creek High School. Another little-known fact about Mr. Presley is that he's also a published author. In 2016, he wrote a children's book about his beloved hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. This time, his book is for adults, specifically those involved in education. We are so proud of Mr. Presley and want to spotlight his accomplishment today, on the day of his publication release. #WilderWolves #BuildingBrightFutures #AllinAlvinISD
