This morning, Ms. Bonggot shared this picture with Mrs. Sullivan because one of her students had recently checked out a cookbook from the library, and she wanted to show her the cookies she had made after following the recipe. Reading can look different for every student; this week, it was in the form of a cookbook for one of our Kindergartners. One of Mrs. Sullivan's favorite Wilder traditions is when our Kindergarten classes donate a copy of their animal research books to the library. The Kindergarten teachers bring their classes down to the library, and Mrs. Sullivan goes through the book, discovering who the author was on each page and celebrating their exceptional work. We are truly grateful for your commitment to recycling. Your efforts make a real difference in protecting Texas’ land, water, and air. At H-E-B, our sustainability commitment Our Texas, Our Future [ourtexasourfuture.com] focuses on increasing awareness and education around practices that preserve our environment for future generations. This year, we had 816 schools participate statewide, and together we recycled over 8.4 million plastic bags!
