Earlier this week, we celebrated Mrs. Boyd's retirement with a beautiful party in the library, where she was surrounded by friends and loved ones who shared loads of wonderful memories. This year, our Kindergarteners built a Little Free Library that sits out front of our school, near the flagpoles, under the porch, close to the front office entrance. Yesterday, these amazing "almost 1st graders" filled our Little Free Library up with wonderful new books for families to take, read, share, and replace all summer long. If you've got books your Wilder Wolf has outgrown, please think about sharing them in our Little Free Library. This afternoon, about 40 of our students were invited to participate in a Zoom author event with Katherine Applegate. Some of our students were eating lunch at the time, but we made it work, and they had the opportunity to listen to one of America's greatest modern-day children's authors. Just a reminder: all library books are due back by Friday, May 8th. Please help ensure your Wilder Wolf has their library books in their backpack on Sunday evening, so they aren't waiting until the last day to turn them in. The first class in each grade level to turn in ALL their books will win a special reward from Mrs. Sullivan. If a book has been checked out for more than 90 days, the book is automatically marked as lost.
