She stays late, comes up on weekends and is always ready when you need her! When we have a need or a want she always figures out a way to get what we need. We truly appreciate everything you do for this campus and for all of us every single day!

This month's Character Strong trait is Cooperation! Our second-grade students read The Concrete Garden by Bobbie Kalman is a children's book that focuses on the theme of cooperation and community. The story centers around a girl who takes a box of chalk and begins drawing a map on the sidewalk. The map eventually becomes a plan for a garden in the middle of a city, and as the story progresses, different people in the neighborhood come together to contribute and help transform the concrete space into a beautiful, thriving garden. The book highlights the importance of teamwork, creativity, and the positive impact that cooperation can have on a community. Inspired by the book, our students worked together to design and build our very own Concrete Garden, bringing teamwork and creativity to life.
