Thank you to the Iowa Colony High School basketball players that did car duty on Friday. The students enjoyed giving high fives and getting star treatment.

Staff of the week goes to... Drum Roll... Ms. Kaitlyn Martinez! We are beyond blessed to have you helping all the students of Bennett Elementary! When you notice a student struggling you never hesitate to search for different ideas to help. Not only do you help all the students, but you also help all the staff members when they need different strategies to help students be successful! Thank you for your endless commitment!

Staff of the week goes to... Drum Roll... Ms. Torres! Her dedication and love for her job does not go unnoticed. She is always early and stays late creating fun and exciting lessons for her students. When asked to join a committee or club, she join multiple without hesitation. Her ideas and creativity is truly one of a kind! She is such a blessing to Bennett Elementary!

Today was an emotional day as we said good bye to our wonderful fifth graders! We know you will present Bennett Elementary very well in junior high! Once a Blue Jay always a Blue Jay!

Congratulations to Ms. Valiare's first grade class for receiving the i-Ready Traveling Trophy Award for K-2 for the highest average percentage of lessons passed. Congratulations to Ms. Duster's third grade class for receiving the i-Ready Traveling Trophy Award for 3-5 for the highest average percentage of lessons passed.

In a joint effort STUCO and PTO raised enough money for a bench on the playground!
