It's time for our Buy One, Get One Free book fair! It is a great time to stock up on books for summer reading. The book fair will run from Monday, May 4-Friday, May 8. Parents may shop with their students before school from 7:15 am-7:45 am, and during their student's assigned lunch day/time. Please see the flyer to set up an E-Wallet for your student if you need to. Thank you again for all of your support!

Today is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! We are beyond grateful for the dedication, patience, and care our bus drivers show our students every single day. Rain or shine, they are often the first smile our children see in the morning and the last friendly face before they return home. Thank you for keeping our students safe, supported, and cared fo! You truly make a difference in their lives and our community!

Students at Bennett can earn SOAR bucks for making good choices and being kind. Lauralie used her SOAR bucks to purchase a lunch pass with Ms. Martinez.

Second grade learned about Earth Day, cleaning up oil spills, and making a filter to reuse water today!

5th graders helped with our Soar Store this week.

Staff of the week goes to... Drum Roll... Ms. Childress! She truly exemplifies strength, dedication, and heart. Even while bravely battling cancer, she remains committed to being present for her students each day, showing incredible resilience and determination. As a fifth-grade teacher, she consistently goes above and beyond to support all students, building meaningful relationships that help them feel seen, valued, and encouraged. Her classroom is filled with engaging, fun lessons that make learning exciting and memorable. She is a shining example of perseverance and compassion, and our school community is better because of her.
