5th grade help the final 2 events in the Potato Olympics High Jump and Shot put.




This week STUCO was busy counting plastic bags for our fundraiser and planting wildflowers in the flowerbeds to help attract butterflies and make our school look great! Look for the blooms in late April start of May.






Today is Bennett Pioneer Day for 2nd through 5th grades. Please see the attached information.
1st Grade is learning some pretty cool jump roping skills in PE!







The Bennett PTO surprised Alejandro Valenzuela (3rd grade) with a special treat from MOD Pizza for his winning rodeo art.

Students in Ms. Duster’s 3rd grade class work on revising sentences for clarity in a hands-on way. Then, they typed their revised sentences.

The staff of the week goes to... Drum roll.... Ms. Madisyn Manke! 7:00 am hits and here is Ms. Manke! Never late, always present and always willing to help and do whatever is needed to get the job done. Those are just a few of Ms. Manke's great attributes. She is a Rockstar in the classroom helping support our students with autism. We are so lucky to have you on our campus!

Our wonderful student, Jayden was so excited to see his counselor from last year! What a sweet reunion!

Kimberly Johnson from Next Level Urgent Care very graciously and generously spoiled our staff with some yummy snacks and fruit for our STAAR training. Congratulations to this year's Campus Teachers of the Year!
Each campus selected their own Teacher of the Year and those winners are now in the running to become either the Secondary or Elementary Teacher of the Year for the district! The district winners will be announced at the Employee Recognition ceremony in May.
