Our Staff Member of the Week is Mrs. Manning, one of our 5th grade teachers! You are an amazing teacher and mentor for all staff members! We love the love you have for all, and it is an honor to serve with you!

Several of our fifth graders participated in the SCHS One Voice Choir concert this week. What an excellent opportunity for students to meet the junior high choir directors and see what the choir program is like! Thanks to everyone who participated and directed. @AlvinISD

Our school specialists donated food items and toys for Angels of Light through Second Baptist Church. This program provides children and families from Houston's inner-city and surrounding communities with a warm meal, Christmas program, and special gifts. #AlvinISDserves

Fourth graders created kindness for unsuspecting recipients through rocks with inspirational messages. At Independence Park, these special stones were dropped along the way because one message at the right moment can change someone's entire day. #AlvinISD serves

Second grade took the time to kick off the holiday season, sharing some holiday cheer. The students donated much needed items to the patients at Texas Children's Hospital, and those at The Beacon of Hope Shelter. #AlvinISDserves

3rd grade chose to support Rainbow of Love Houston, an organization dedicated to helping mothers and children. They collected the organization’s most needed items—diapers and wipes. Thanks to our students and their supportive parents, we had an amazing turnout! #AlvinISDserves

Each November, SBE loves participating in Alvin ISD. Stay tuned this week to see how our students took part this year. Our kindergarten students showed thanks to Pearland Fire Department Station 8 with a delivery of blankets, snacks, lotions, soaps and more! #AlvinISDserves

Our first grade team and students joined in for #AlvinISD serves by collecting craft activities to donate to Texas Children's Hospital.

Coach Foster your positive disposition and genuine care helps build meaningful relationships with students and staff. You create a welcoming environment for all. You truly make a difference in the school community. We are fortunate to have you.

Our Staff Member of the Week is Ms. Engineer, one of our 4th grade teachers! Ms. Engineer, you make your love for dance shine bright on our campus. We thank you for all you do for our students.

The teachers and staff finished out underground spirit week strong. Yesterday, we wore black on to black to mourn that Thanksgiving Break is so late this year. Today, we showed up comfy and cozy in our PJs. Have a fun and relaxing weekend Bearkats!

Words do not express how thankful we are for Mr. Luis and the love and hard work he has poured into our school. We are so excited for his promotion and move to Marek, but will certainly miss him here at Brothers!

We won the second six weeks attendance trophy for the district!!! This means out of all elementary campuses we had the highest attendance for six weeks. Thank you so much for helping us maintain great attendance.

Looks like our secret is out! Bearkat students caught our teachers having fun with an underground spirit week. The students have been excited each day to see how their teachers will show up to school. Can you guess what our last two days will be? @AlvinISD
