We are so thankful for the year Mr. Billy has served AlvinISD as part of the Bearkat Family. Congratulations on your retirement! It is well deserved, friend.

Congratulations to our final Bearkats of the month for the school year. It takes true grit and determination to continue to show your Bearkat P.R.I.D.E. during the last month before summer. Thank you for continuing to make good choices and shine!

Watch out, Junior High, here they come. We are so proud of all the hard work and dedication you have put into your time at Brothers Elementary. Before we know it, you will be walking these halls once again in cap and gown. Keep showing your Bearkat P.R.I.D.E. and be sure to come back and visit. Remember, we are part of your village. Once a Bearkat, ALWAYS a Bearkat!

Congratulations, Kindergarten graduates. We are amazed at how much you have grown this year and look forward to seeing continued growth of the next five years. Have a great summer!

Congratulations to our Bearkats of the Month for the month of April. Thank you for your continued leadership and putting our Bearkat PRIDE on demonstration each and every day!

First graders and two third-grade classes learned about the poetry form of Haiku in the library. After learning this style, they became poets and wrote haikus independently. Their poetry was submitted to the Expressive Education National Schools Project through www.youngpoets.org. Twenty-six of our students' poems were selected to be published in the 31st annual poetry anthology, The Young American Poetry Digest. Let's go Bearkats!

The school talent show this week was a hit! From singing and dancing to magic tricks and comedy, our students sure know how to shine on stage. Huge thanks to our music teacher Mr. Jordan, and to everyone who helped make it special — we're so proud of our talented stars!

Join us in celebrating Mrs. Baker, one of our incredible Special Education teachers, as our Staff Member of the Week! In her first year in this role, Mrs. Baker has shown remarkable growth, dedication, and teamwork. Her actions consistently reflect just how much she adores her students and is committed to their success.
We are so grateful for the care, collaboration, and heart she brings to SBE each day. Thank you, Mrs. Baker, for all you do!
