Our Bearkat students wrote what they were thankful for and added it to their grade level turkey, so we want to take the time to share what we are thankful for. Thank you for all the support our Bearkat families give to our staff. We truly hope that your day is filled with joy!

Thank you 3rd grade for collecting donations for the City of Pearland - Animal Services. We were able to provide them with food, snack, toys and other pet items. Thank you to the Animal Services department for bringing out some of the dogs for the students to meet! @AlvinISD

For #AlvinISDserves, our second graders made friendship bracelets and kindness rocks to go with donations of games and books they collected for Texas Children's Hospital. They also collected blankets and hygiene items for the Beacon of Hope. Awesome job 2nd grade. @AlvinISD

Kindergarten participated in a presentation from Pearland Fire Station No. 5. The interactive activities and demonstrations made it both fun and educational. Thank you for your outstanding service and for making a difference in the lives of our youngest community members.




Today we expressed our gratitude towards veterans with a special program. Thank you to all of our veterans. Your presence today meant a lot to us, and we appreciate your service! Thank you 5th grade for heading up this program for your #AlvinISDServes project.

Through the @AlvinIsd_EdFd teacher grants and the support of our families with the book fair, we were able to open a book vending machine in our library. Our students are so excited for a chance to earn a token for a new book to take home . Thank you for your support!

Ofrendas are an essential part of the Day of the Dead celebrations. They are used to honor and remember the memory of ancestors. Thank you Ms. Rubin for creating an ofrenda for our Bearkat family in the third grade hall!
