This week, we are proud to celebrate Ms. Dominique, a staff member whose impact is felt across our entire campus. Often referred to as our "campus superintendent," she is the one who opens the school each morning and ensures everything runs smoothly through her tireless dedication and leadership. Ms. Dominique consistently goes above and beyond, from organizing community events like food trucks to leading engaging after-school groups that provide students with a safe place to grow and build positive relationships. Her genuine care for our school and her willingness to support anyone in need are what make our campus an amazing place, and she is truly deserving of this recognition.

Whether it’s helping a new teacher navigate curriculum or jumping into a classroom to model a difficult lesson, she goes out of her way to ensure no one feels like they are teaching on an island. Her ability to turn a "math emergency" into a "learning opportunity" is her superpower.

Huge congrats to our amazing robotics teams on their first scrimmage. They built these robots from pieces and their hard work paid off. One of our teams was even the highest scoring elementary team! Out of 32 teams with 4th-8th graders, we truly shined. So proud of you! @AlvinISD
