This is not an ordinary bin it is a books collection bin. donate your gently used children's books. collection dates september 21 - october 8. your gently loved books still have plenty of stories left to tell! Drop them in one of our book bus collection bins located at Alvin ISD schools and community locations, help us put more books into the hands of Alvin ISD children.
Move it, move it! Today marked the official kickoff of our West Side District Musical tour, and our incredible 4th and 5th grade stars brought the stage to life with an unforgettable performance of Madagascar! From Alex the Lion leading the pack to our sharp-witted penguin and four high-energy lemurs, our Bearkat performers lit up the stage with talent, confidence, and enthusiasm. Mrs. Russell, our librarian, is a kind-hearted, supportive, and truly invaluable part of our school family. A true jack-of-all-trades, she manages our library with style and grace while constantly going above and beyond for both students and staff. She shares her passion for reading with our team, even leading inspiring reading and literacy sessions during summer district PD! She’s always willing to lend a helping hand, from organizing classroom libraries to supporting teachers across all grade levels. She has created an exciting, welcoming library environment where our students absolutely love to come and learn!
