Friday at Wilder, we will kick off our Alvin ISD Book Bus donation drive by honoring and celebrating the Queen herself, Dolly Parton. In 1995, Dolly created the Imagination Library with the sole mission of putting books in kids' hands at no cost to parents. Since its inception, Dolly's organization has donated over 300 million books to children across the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Ireland. Though our mission to fill the Book Bus with books is smaller, it matters just as much as Dolly's original mission. If you have gently used books your Wilder Wolf has outgrown, please consider donating them to the Book Bus. At the front entrance near the front office, you'll see a large bin for book drop-offs. We would love to have a bin full of books to donate to the Book Bus from Wilder. The donation campaign runs through October 8th. #WilderWolves #WeSeeYou #IfKnowledgeIsPowerThenLearningIsASuperpower

Check out two of our 4th grade boys who are Twinning & Winning today. Thanks for capturing the moment Mrs. Abraham. #WilderWolves #WeSeeYou #IfKnowledgeIsPowerThenLearningIsASuperpower

Attendance matters! Every minute of the school day counts! ⏰ We know morning routines can feel like a chaotic race against the clock, but bringing your student to school on time, every single day, sets them up for success in ways that last a lifetime.
Reduces Morning Stress: Arriving with a few minutes to spare lets kids settle in, unpack, and start the day feeling calm and confident rather than rushed.
Protects Key Learning Time: The first 15–20 minutes of class often set the tone for the whole day, covering critical announcements, warm-up activities, and foundational instruction.
Builds Strong Connections: Arriving on time ensures students don't miss valuable social interactions with peers and teachers before lessons begin.
Creates Lifelong Habits: Consistency teaches accountability, time management, and reliability—skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

Each year, we love to highlight our former Wilder Wolves who are accomplishing great things at Shadow Creek High School. Today, we celebrate these three former Wolves who just qualified as National Merit Semifinalists. These high school seniors earned one of the highest PSAT/NMSQT scores, placing them in the top 0.5% of students in Texas. Congratulations to all of these SCHS students, but we are especially proud of our former Wilder Wolves. #WilderWolves #WeSeeYou #IfKnowledgeIsPowerThenLearningIsASuperpower

Congratulations to the 3rd-grade teacher, Ms. Herrera, for being our Wolf of the Week. Awesome job! #WilderWolves #WeSeeYou #IfKnowledgeIsPowerThenLearningIsASuperpower

Check out this fun Friday Twinning is Winning moment with Mrs. James and Ms. Tamayo. #WilderWolves #WeSeeYou #IfKnowledgeIsPowerThenLearningIsASuperpower

This year, Mr. Riley started positive office referrals to highlight the great things our students do every day. Today we celebrated these four incredible students: Ryan, Bassam, Athena & Savannah. Congratulations to these awesome Wilder Wolves for going above and beyond to help others. #WilderWolves #WeSeeYou #IfKnowledgeIsPowerThenLearningIsASuperpower

Tonight, our friends at Shadow Creek High School play the Brazoswood Buccaneers for their homecoming game at Freedom Field. We wish them the best and hope they leave with a VICTORY at the end of the night. We also want to highlight some of our Wilder students for participating in the Homecoming Parade Wednesday night. We love seeing our students supporting our community in various ways. #WilderWolves #WeSeeYou #IfKnowledgeIsPowerThenLearningIsASuperpower

The Book Bus needs your help filling its shelves! After putting thousands of books in children hands this summer, we're ready to restock.
From Sept 21–Oct 8 families can donate gently used books in bins throughout AISD schools and participating community locations! Thank you for helping us put more books into the hands of Alvin ISD children—one book at a time!

It’s Jeremiah’s Spirit Night! Cool off with a sweet treat and support our Wolves from 12–10 pm at Jeremiah’s Italian Ice! 20% of sales will be donated back to Wilder, so bring the family, treat yourself to some Italian Ice or Gelati, and help raise money for our school. Now that’s a pretty sweet way to show your Wilder spirit! Be sure to mention Wilder when you're ordering! #WilderWolves #WeSeeYou #IfKnowledgeIsPowerThenLearningIsASuperpower

This Saturday at the West Pearland Public Library, our students can join a local chapter of the American Chemical Society for fun, hands-on science experiments. The demonstration begins at 1:30 and is perfect for ages 6-11. A Wilder parent is also presenting it, which makes this opportunity even more fun! #WilderWolves #WeSeeYou #IfKnowledgeIsPowerThenLearningIsASuperpower

This week, Mrs. Marz has been working with our flag patrol volunteers on proper flag etiquette to ensure our flags fly proudly over Wilder each day. Thank you, Mrs. Marz, and special thanks to our flag patrol volunteers for taking care of this very special daily task. #WilderWolves #WeSeeYou #IfKnowledgeIsPowerThenLearningIsASuperpower
