As our teachers and staff begin their summertime travels, let's see all the places they'll go. Mrs. Alex made it to Paris . . . . Paris, TX that is. Built in 1993, the Texas Eiffel Tower stands one-sixteenth the size of the original in Paris, France. The red cowboy hat was added in 1998. She had her husband also rode the Texas State Railroad. This historic 25-mile heritage railway stretching between the East Texas towns of Palestine and Rusk is designated as the official Railroad of Texas. Mrs. Chen, Mrs. Dickerson, and Mrs. Watson met up with their 3rd grade classes recently at Reflection Bay pool for some fun, food, hugs & a lot of laughs with friends. One of our families shared a picture from their recent visit to Constellation Field to watch the Sugarland Space Cowboys play. Kenzie earned two free tickets to the Space Cowboys for reading books and participating in their spring reading challenge. Some of our Wilder Wolves received a special delivery from their mailman because Mrs. Sullivan didn't have a chance to deliver them to students before the year ended abruptly. These kiddos read 300 minutes between May 1st & 15th and earned another extra Beanstack reward. This time a free Panda Express kids meal & a free Jeremiah's Ice of their choosing. This morning Mrs. Godfrey had a meet up with her kindergarten class at LitJava Coffee & Books.
