JBH Practicum in Manufacturing students spent six months preparing for the HLSR Industrial Craft Committee competition, facing challenges that tested their commitment, teamwork, and resilience. While results weren’t as hoped, the lessons learned and growth gained. Amazing work!

Our Vet Assistant students honed their microscope skills by examining pond water and practiced essential vet lab procedures. They also mastered wrapping surgical packs, identifying surgical instruments, performing a surgical scrub, preparing for surgery, bandaging techniques.

Each campus selected their own Teacher of the Year and those winners are now in the running to become either the Secondary or Elementary Teacher of the Year for the district! The district winners will be announced at the Employee Recognition ceremony in May.



Our JBH Auto Tech team placed 8th and Auto Collision team placed 9th at the Top Tech 2025 contest, competing against over 60 teams! Their hard work and skills earned them an impressive $1,000 scholarship! Great job representing JBH!

Our Intro, Advanced, and Practicum Culinary students teamed up to provide exceptional food and service for the Pearland Chamber’s 63rd Annual Banquet! Their hard work and dedication showcased their culinary skills while supporting our community. Amazing job, team!





A Huge Thank You to Gulf Coast Ford! We are incredibly grateful to Gulf Coast Ford for their generous donation of a new Ford Explorer to the JBH Auto Program! This vehicle will play a crucial role in helping our students earn Ford Certifications, providing hands-on experience!




Sometimes, a little spa treatment is all you need! Our Cosmetology students practiced and refined their techniques, creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. From skincare to massage, they put their skills to the test in a hands-on learning session!





Law II students showcased their acting talents in a captivating Serial Killer Wax Museum presentation. Stepping into the personas of infamous criminals, they engaged students and staff with detailed insights into each killer’s background, crimes, and psychology.





E-Sports students have been hard at work designing dynamic posters to promote special events for their favorite video games! Using Photoshop, they skillfully applied fundamental design principles to create visually compelling and engaging promotional materials.

In January, JBH proudly hosted 8th-grade tours, giving students from across the district a chance to explore CTE programs, meet teachers and students, and gain insight into future opportunities. This experience helped them make informed decisions about their education and career.
