Sometimes giving back is simple, and sometimes it’s hard work — but always worth it. Our Vet programs gave back through Alvin ISD Serves this month by donating their time, skills, and techniques to help spay and neuter over 100 animals this past weekend.



Big students, big tools, and even bigger opportunities! Our Construction and Welding students had a blast exploring heavy equipment and career pathways at the Construction Expo!




Hands-on learning in action! Our Computer Maintenance students teamed up with their teacher to cut, test, and run network cables — building real-world tech skills one cable at a time!


Student from different programs from JBH had the privilege and honor to go trick or treat with EC Mason students for halloween. I guess you could say they really got into the spirit of the year!



We are excited to announce that Alvin ISD has been named a CTE District of Distinction by the Career & Technical Association of Texas!
This prestigious honor recognizes AISD's commitment to CTE excellence and dedication to preparing students for success in college, careers, and beyond.

Our Vet 1 students took a page right out of the manual this week as they practiced the skill of clipping juvenile chicken wings. This hands-on training helps them understand proper animal care techniques while building confidence in real-world applications.




Our HVAC students are putting their skills to the test—focusing on electrical and wiring work that is essential in the field. Hands-on learning today builds the professionals of tomorrow!



Our CMA students got hands-on experience today! After a little exercise to get their heart rates up, they practiced taking respiratory readings on themselves and their classmates. Great real-world practice in action!

JBH Law II Students in Action! Our Law II students took their training to the next level by learning baton tactics this week. It doesn’t get more hands-on than this! Hands-on practice like this helps students build confidence, discipline, and the skills they’ll need in the field.




The JBH Open House was a fantastic event! From exploring all the amazing classes to enjoying delicious snacks prepared by our talented culinary students, it was a great evening for everyone!

Our Culinary Arts students are rolling up their sleeves and learning the art of bread proofing while exploring how to make a variety of bread products. From mixing and kneading to shaping and baking, they’re discovering the science (and patience!) behind creating fresh bread!



It's National Hispanic Heritage Month! Each September, we celebrate the history, culture, and contributions from Hispanic and Latino Americans that continue to inspire and shape our schools, our community, and our world!
