Summer Reading Reminders! 📚

Did you visit the Book Bus or Jeter Summer Library this summer? Please return all borrowed books to Ms. Sistrunk in the library as soon as possible!

⏰ Important: Tomorrow is the deadline to turn in your Summer Reading Logs!

Miss Wilder’s class got their desk pets on Friday and had fun learning about different kinds of scientists! 🐾🔬👩‍🔬 They are off to a great start as they explore, discover, and learn!

Mrs. Vizcarra’s class has been working hard to learn their reading stations! 📚✨ They are building routines and practicing their reading skills!

Our teachers are readers, too! 📚💙 One of the best ways to create a culture of reading is by modeling a love for books. When our students see us reading and sharing what’s on our bookshelves, they see that reading isn’t just something we do at school. It’s something we enjoy! 📖

Miss Glenn’s class completed their memory heart maps for writing! ❤️✏️ They are filling their hearts with ideas!

Mrs. Tehas’s class enjoyed a special guest reader yesterday! After reading, students explored their five senses and made predictions as they learned through a fun, hands on experience. What a great way to learn and discover together! 👀👂
