Hello Jaguar Families,
I am excited and grateful to serve as the Assistant Principal at Don Jeter Elementary! This marks my 21st year in education, and I continue to find great joy in working alongside students, staff, and families to create meaningful learning experiences. I began my journey in the classroom as a 5th and 6th grade math teacher and have since had the privilege of serving in both campus and district administrative roles.
I earned my degrees from Oral Roberts University and Lamar University—experiences that shaped my dedication to educational leadership and lifelong learning. My amazing wife, Clover, and I are the proud parents of two sons who both attended Texas A&M University—Gig 'em!
Our family understands the importance of education and the impact of a strong school community. At Don Jeter, I look forward to supporting our Jaguars as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in building strong relationships, fostering a supportive and respectful environment, and celebrating every student’s growth and success. I can’t wait to connect with each of you as we work together to make this an incredible year!

Hello! I’m Camryn LaCour, and I’m thrilled to be joining the Don Jeter family as the 5th grade Science and Social Studies teacher. This will be my fourth year in education. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) and recently completed my master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction from there as well. Science has always been a passion of mine, and I love creating hands-on, engaging lessons that spark curiosity and excitement in the classroom. Outside of school, I enjoy going to concerts, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family and two French bulldogs. I’m looking forward to an amazing school year!
