Turkey Trouble! 🦃 Ms. Mayberry’s class visited Ms. LaCombe this morning to put their brains to the test! They worked together to solve logic puzzles and help the turkey make its great escape before Thanksgiving! Great teamwork, students! 🧠👏

Ms. Boze’s class turned fall leaves into math inspiration! 🍁 Students crafted their own word problems and solved them using strategies they’ve been working hard to master.

Mr. Martinez wrote a leaf story just like our second graders! 🍁 He visited them in Ms. Sturrock’s class this morning and shared it with the students. 📚✨

We were thrilled to have 30 talented 4th and 5th graders represent Don Jeter at the Manvel Elementary Honor Choir last night! 🎶 They did an amazing job performing at the MHS auditorium!

Our staff wrapped up Underground Spirit Week in style! Thursday was Trade-Off Thursday, where they dressed as students, and Friday was Flannel Friday. Such a fun week! 🤗

Congratulations to Mrs. Vaughn's class! They earned popsicles for having perfect attendance for ten days — enough to spell out the word ATTENDANCE! Way to go, students! 🎉👏

We’ve added two dress-up days next week!
📅 Thursday, November 20
Please have your child wear their blue Alvin ISD Serves shirt.
📅 Friday, November 21
We’re celebrating the 67th day of school! Students can:

• Wear a T-shirt with the number 67.

Congrats to our Jag Staff Member of the Week, Ms. Rodriguez!
We appreciate how Ms. Rodriguez constantly wears so many hats and manages to juggle it all so well for our campus every single day. We especially want to recognize her hard work and effort coordinating our recent chocolate fundraiser! We are truly lucky to have her! 👏
