We are proud to share that two Alvin ISD students have been named finalists in the 2025 I Am Texas writing and art contest hosted by The Bryan Museum.
Caffey Junior High: Dillan Bradley for the short story “Galveston News”
Jeter Elementary: Nathan Ponce for the artwork “Western Buddies”
All finalists will be published in the 2025 Historian’s Journal, which will become part of The Bryan Museum’s permanent library collection. Finalists are also invited to the I Am Texas reception on November 23 at The Bryan Museum in Galveston.
Finalist artwork will be on display from September 26–November 23. Contest winners will be announced on September 22 through the I Am Texas website.
