Party time in Miss Torres' Kindergarten class! We celebrated our birthday theme day by counting M&Ms on sugar cookies, running a safe candy science experiment, and playing a collaborative counting cup game.

First grade students in Mrs. Peacock's class learned all about open syllable words! Students used sound maps and Play-Doh to map out words and practiced coding open syllable words. They did a great job! ☺️

Kindergarten’s first library time is in the books! From learning how to care for books to scanning their very own checkouts, they had a blast—and couldn't wait to get home and start reading thanks to our amazing librarian Mrs. Garcia and Mrs. S. 📖❤️

Staff of the week goes to... Drum Roll... Ms. Donye Morgan! One of Ms. Morgan's greatest strengths is her calm and caring personality. She has a natural ability to make students feel comfortable, which helps build confidence and fosters positive relationships. Ms. Morgan is not only a wonderful educator but also a trusted source of support and encouragement, and her efforts are deeply appreciated by students and families alike.

We celebrated our third first day at Bennett Elementary with Mrs. Barbara Bennett. Mrs. Bennett has been present on the first day of school since the building opened. We are so grateful for her support and the students get so excited to see her. Thank you to all of our parents for making today a smooth start. We are so excited for the 2026-2027 school year. #weseeyou

Parents, we kindly ask that you remain in your vehicle during morning car rider drop-off. To help keep all of our students safe and our car rider line moving smoothly, parents should not park and walk their student to the front door, or office.

When you reach the drop-off area, please allow your student to exit the vehicle independently if they are able to do so. Our staff will be there to help students safely enter the building.

💙 Stay in your car, let us help your student get inside, and help us keep our morning drop-off safe and smooth for everyone!
