AHS Cheer Clinic registration is open!
The clinic is for Pre - K thru 8th grade students and will be held on Oct. 19 for $40. Note that registration closes on Oct 1.

Our first Mustang of the Week was Ms. Mink! She has come to AJH and has hit the ground running! Ms. Mink has built a classroom culture filled with positivity and responsibility. She has blended in with her team and has become a valuable part of the campus. Thank you for everything you do, Ms. Mink!

This week's Mustang of the week is Mrs. Yow! She shows what it means to be a true team player and moved from teaching ELA to Math when the need arose! Mrs. Yow has embraced her new role and has built positive relationships with her students and new partner teachers. We are proud to call Mrs. Yow this week's Mustang of the Week!

Open House is this Wednesday! 5:30 - 7:00. Make sure to check out the Alvin Parks & Rec table and the Community Health Network table at Open House. Also, bring some money to buy some treats from Sno-Bees or The Traveling Bean.

Book Fair begins next week! September 27 - October 6. We will be open during Open House from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.

Staff could dress up like alternate careers they considered before teaching. Fun to see what other careers were considered! We're glad they chose teaching!


Stampede to Success Award - We salute to one of our newest Mustangs, Ms. Goad! She has come into a challenging situation and has taken ownership of the classroom, created positive and productive relationships with students, and always has a can-do attitude! Congratulations!

Stampede to Success Award - Mr. Martinson has willingly taken on an area out of his comfort zone and has embraced it! He has a commitment to inspiring and educating his students! He's embraced everything about being a teacher and being a difference maker at AJH! It's evident that Mr. Martinson genuinely cares about the success and well-being of his students! Congratulations!
