Come on out and meet the new AHS Volleyball Coach!!!

The AHS Art Department and NAHS proudly present “Candy Garden,” our submission for the 39th annual Houston Art Car parade. Ms. Little will drive our entry down Allen Parkway in the parade on Saturday, April 11th. The van is on display at Alvin High School today and will also be at the AISD Spring Art Show at Liberty Hall on April 28th.
So much love and hard work went into crafting this incredible moving art piece. Our Sculpture and Art 1 students made the plaster sculptures on the roof and hood, our Drawing and Painting students drew and painted the mural on the sides of the van, and our Ceramics students made ceramic bug magnets for the hood. NAHS oversaw this project for the past 6 weeks, and a grant from the AISD Education Foundation provided the supplies.
When you see an Art student, give them a high five! And come out to the parade on Saturday to cheer us on!

Lady Jackets are ready for their final game of the season! Come to Memorial Stadium and support the ladies!

Congratulations to our Alvin Lady Jackets 2026 Regional Powerlifting Championship team! The ladies had three regional champions, Tina Troung, Rubi Navarrete, and Alondra Acuma, plus 11 state qualifiers. #JPND

Victoria Silvas was recognized for the second year in a row by iCEV for outstanding student performance on the Fundamentals of Animal Science certification test. #JPND

This evening is the closing reception for the Creative Borders Art Showcase at Alvin College.  Stop by and see a beautiful collection of artwork celebrating the art and culture of Mexico by K-12 Art students from across the district.  

We are proud to share that our Varsity and JV Colorguard teams competed at Goose Creek Memorial High School this past weekend. JV had a great showing, earning a fourth place finish, and the Varsity team worked hard and earned FIRST PLACE!! Congratulations in your awards! #JPND
