Our 3rd and 5th grade students visited JA Biztown, a simulated town where students were able to connect classroom learning to real life. #Alvinisd

Our second graders are trading their jerseys for books as we kickoff Book Madness! On the road to the championship trophy, and a love of reading, each classroom will have a “game” where the class will read and cast their votes on their favorite books. Over the next few weeks, we will narrow down the field through the Sweet Sixteen, the Elite Eight, and the Final Four. It all leads up to the Grand Finale, where only one book will be crowned 2026 Classroom Champion. 🏀🏆📚
