In 2nd grade we learned that in our class we are from all over. Our cultures span from Germany, Ireland, Mexico, and Guatemala for sure.
From our culture show and tell we learned Germany invented apple dumplings, Haribo gummy bears also originated from Germany, dream catchers and other beautiful jewelry are made by the Mi’kmaq tribe, and Ireland enjoy tea time and their cookies. We also shared traditions from generations before us that involve some sweet/fun Christmas gifts.
