Students learn about the Mexican holiday Dia de los muertos, the ofrenda, and the offerings placed upon it for dearly departed loved ones. They made pan de muerto out of clay and sugar skulls as well. Next week they will glaze, and time permitting take a trip out to the outdoor classroom to see and learn about the kiln.
We are currently out of chocolate due to the overwhelming response! We will be getting another shipment tomorrow, so be on the lookout for more fundraising fun!!
