At last night's meeting, the Alvin ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2025-2026 Academic Calendar.
The calendar was developed by the District Education Improvement Committee, a team of parents, community members, and Alvin ISD teachers. This group carefully considered state requirements, students’ instructional needs, feedback from parents and staff, and the needs of the local community and businesses while crafting the calendar.

Our 8th grade students had a great time at JB Hensley CTE building yesterday touring and learning about the options available to them as the go to High School next year.







HJH will be conducting a lockdown this afternoon. This is only a drill and there is no cause for alarm. We will communicate when the drill is completed.

The drill is complete. Thank you to Harby staff and students for your quick response and appropriate behavior.
