We are looking forward to celebrating our grandparents tomorrow at Duke! Please see below for some FAQs! 1. What time is Grandparents Breakfast? 7:15 - 8:15 a.m. Our cafeteria doors WILL NOT open until 7:15am. 2. Can I buy breakfast the day of if I did not purchase a ticket in advance? Absolutely! You can either buy breakfast through our cafeteria line or bring your own! If buying breakfast in the line, you will use your student's ID number to do so. 3. Where do I enter for Grandparents' Breakfast? Everyone visiting for breakfast will enter through our cafeteria doors No adults will be checked in through the front office during the breakfast. We encourage our families to utilize our parking lot to the west of our cafeteria for easy access to the building. 4. Do I need my ID to enter the building? YES! ALL adults MUST have a state issued photo ID to enter our building! Your ID will be taken when you enter, and you will be given a visitors badge to wear during Grandparents Breakfast. For the safety of our students and staff, anyone without a proper photo ID will not be allowed into the building. Copies and/or photos of your photo ID will NOT be accepted. 5. Can I walk my student to class afterwards? No, families may NOT walk with their students to class. However, we will have helpers that can escort our families and students to our campus bookfair in the library!
