Welcome to the DJE Team! 📣
We’re excited to welcome Ms. Camryn LaCour to Don Jeter! 🐾✨
Ms. LaCour will be joining us as our new 5th Grade Science and Social Studies teacher, and we’re thrilled to have her passion, energy, and creativity in the classroom. With a strong background in curriculum and a love for hands-on learning, she’s sure to spark curiosity and excitement in our young scientists and historians! 🔬🌍
📬 A message from Ms. LaCour:
Hello! I’m Camryn LaCour, and I’m thrilled to be joining the Don Jeter family as the 5th grade Science and Social Studies teacher. This will be my fourth year in education. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) and recently completed my master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction from there as well. Science has always been a passion of mine, and I love creating hands-on, engaging lessons that spark curiosity and excitement in the classroom. Outside of school, I enjoy going to concerts, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family and two French bulldogs. I’m looking forward to an amazing school year!
Please help us give a warm Jaguar welcome to Ms. LaCour! 💙👏
