Our Glenn York 2nd graders collected pajamas for children who will be serviced through the Isaiah 17 house. They assembled goody bags filled with special treats and notes of appreciation to give to the caseworkers as well. #AlvinISDServes

Yesterday, the sign language club had the opportunity to enjoy a special guest speaker. The guest speaker who visited knows both ASL and Mexican Sign Language. He was able to teach them how to sign a few words using Mexican sign language.

At their meeting yesterday, the Ranger Buddies learned about what it's like to have a disability. They learned what it's like to be visually impaired, hearing impaired, and impaired physically. They also learned the braille alphabet and experienced a dyslexia simulation.
