Staff members were shown some love yesterday as the Snack Wagon journeyed around the school spreading kindness and cheer!! We love our staff!



Students in Pre-K are working on listening and recording sounds they hear while discussing feelings from a book read aloud by the teacher. Way to go PK!! You are going to be Kindergarten ready.


Ms. Folzman and Mrs. Bates prepared some sweet learning in their third grade reading classes today.

Nelson Elementary continues to implement Character Strong and focus on a new character trait each month. Mrs. Morgan has created a focus wall for character in her fifth grade classroom. #charactermatters


Nelson's student council members hosted a water station for today's AISD Education Foundation Fun Run! Thank you to Coach Magness, Ms. Smith, and Mrs. Cole for all your hard work.



Students in Mrs. Davison's fifth grade classes created anchor charts using their learning about decimals and coordinate planes to make learning visible for all.



Counselor Highlight: One of the many things Mrs. Cerda does is teach guidance lessons to all classes K-5. We appreciate all she does to help our students grow.


Ms. Tran's first grade class and Ms. Green's fourth grade class have partnered together to create a love of reading through reading buddies. These monthly experiences create memories for all.
