3-5 graders listened to Wendy Mass and Rebecca Stead in a live author event!! These fabulous authors talked about their newest book, The Lost Library, and talked to students about the writing process. They were so engaging and enthusiastic about writing and reading!
Students who completed a summer reading program were rewarded with sno-cones!!

Grandparents Breakfast 2023
Nelson Elementary hosted Grandparents Breakfast this morning. We had beautiful weather and an amazing turnout.
Our first Parent Action Team and Annual Title 1 Parent Meeting will be tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. and again at 4:00 p.m. at Nelson Elementary. Hope to see you there.
1st Graders used engineering skills to create hats and celebrated with a parade through the school.
