From Mrs. Green's ELA lessons this week:
"My students were searching through the "trash" evidence. They were learning more about people by digging through their trash. They used depth and complexity icons to look for details to support the big idea. They Looked for patterns in the details and worked together to solve their unanswered questions! It was great fun, and we learned so much!" Such a creative and fun lesson! #AlvinISD

From Mrs. Green, ELA teacher at WDE: "Yesterday, we analyzed the cause and effect text structure in a nonfiction biography. Students shared how one decision led to many amazing events in a man's life during the era of Reconstruction in our nation. We are currently learning about post-Civil War America. The students are discussing many things from our nation's past, and our conversations are going great!! I'm really proud of them!" Way to go WIldcats! #AlvinISD
