5th graders in Mrs. Green's class came to the library today to create Spine Label Poetry with Mrs. Clawson, Mrs. Gray and Mrs. Stanley!! This was an incredible experience and the students really created some great poetry! #AlvinISD
Milk and Bookies was a success! Mrs. Adams and Mrs. Clawson collaborated to support literacy for BOTH of their schools through this fun after school event! Students in the National Honor Society came from Alvin High School to volunteer and the kids just loved them! #AlvinISD
Walt Disney Wildcats in Mrs. Bray's 5th grade class made Christmas cards for the residents at Laurel Court to hand out during their Christmas party for their Alvin Serves project! They will also deliver a sweet treat to the residents! #AlvinISD #Alvin Serves
Mrs. Meek's class made pet treats and shared them with the animals at the Alvin Animal Shelter for their Alvin Serves project! #AlvinISD

3rd grade scientists at WDE made windsocks to test the wind direction and strength with Mrs. Clawson in the library this week as part of their Weather Unit! #AlvinISD
