The Texans Stats Challenge is a math challenge for students in 5th Grade APA Math only.

The Texans Stats Challenge is a math curriculum in which students use football stats and situations to employ their math skills. Students who participate in the challenge will have the opportunity to win prizes and game tickets from the Houston Texans.

This year, the challenge will take place as an online club in Google Classroom. If students wish to view the videos and pick up a paper copy of the week's activities, we will meet during open library at 7:30 every Tuesday from September 12th through November 14th (we will not meet September 26th or on October 3rd). All materials will be provided in Google Classroom, so it is not necessary for students to attend these meetings in order to participate.

5th grade APA Math students can sign up by joining the Google Classroom with join code: dni7cz6. Students that are not in 5th grade APA Math will not be eligible for the final contest or any prizes, even if they complete all of the curriculum. This is a program rule, and there are no exceptions.

The only steps required to join are to join the Google Classroom and submit the parent waiver.
