Kelsey Cardona
Hello! I’m Mrs. Cardona, and I am excited to begin my 14th year in education as the school counselor at Alvin Elementary! I am proud to be an Alvin ISD alumna and earned my bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and my master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas.
As a school counselor, I am passionate about helping students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and learn the social-emotional tools they need to be successful both in and out of the classroom. I believe every child has unique strengths, and I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where all students feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Pete, our two children, and our doodle. I also love being outdoors and staying active. I look forward to partnering with our students, families, and staff to make this a wonderful school year. It’s a GREAT day to be an Eagle!
