    • MUST have your physical complete BEFORE the first day of training (August 24, 2020).  If this is not taken care of before the start of training, you will be removed from the class and not be allowed to participate in varsity swimming, diving, or water polo for the 2020-2021 school year.  If you had a valid physical either at Jr. High or High School last year, you do not need a new physical this year.

    Training begins Wednesday September 9, 2020
    You must have a current physical from either last year or this year dated after March 2019, and you must have everything else necessary or you will be removed from the class.
    Try-outs will take place during your 6th or 7th period class on the following dates:
    Wednesday September 2 - 9th grade A-K & 10th grade A-K
    Thursday September 3 - 9th grade L-Z & 10th grade L-Z
    Friday Setember 4 - 11th & 12th grade A-K
    Tuesday September 8 - 11th & 12th grade L-Z
    Virtual students not in 6th or 7th period will try-out Tuesday September 8 at 3:15pm
    Come to school equipped to both swim and run during try-outs.
    After school practice begins for everyone (even virtual students), Wednesday September 9, 2020
     
    You will be required to have ALL equipment EVERY DAY - see below.... 
     
    WEEKS 1 & 2: August 24-September 4, 2020: Swim period only.  Try-outs these two weeks.  We'll be in the pool or on the track daily.
    WEEK 3: September 8-11, 2020: Continuing try-outs on the Tuesday the 8th.  Dry land during Swim period W&Th and W&Th we'll be in the water until 4:15pm. Friday all students will be Asynchronous Virtual Students at home.
    WEEK 4: September 14-18, 2020: Dry land during Swim period and
                        M-Fr we'll be in the water until 4:30pm.
    WEEK 5: September 21-25, 2020: Dry land during Swim period and
                        M-F we'll be in the water until 5:00pm.
     
    .All subsequent training will follow the Week 5 schedule unless changed by your coach.
     
     All non-club swimmers are expected to complete a minimum of 4 hours of after school practices weekly.
     Club swimmers are expected to practice with us after school a minimum of 4 times weekly for 1 hour, or twice weekly for 2 hours (in addition to attending all club practices).
     
      
    You are REQUIRED to have the following
    equipment with you EVERY DAY:
     
    Water Bottle, Suit, Cap, Goggles, T-shirt, Shorts, Running Shoes  
     
    Do not ever take your gear home unless you have something to replace it.
    If you cannot practice because you lack gear, you will loose points on your grade.
    If you make a habit of missing practices or cannot maintain passing
    grades,you will be removed from the team.
