Thank you for visiting my page!

As the school counselor at ASSETS, one of my goals is to help students become more self-aware individuals as they journey through their high school years and seek their post- high school plans.  I offer a variety of counseling including crisis, individual, group, and college and career planning. Building a trusting relationship with teens and showing them support and teaching coping skills is a high priority in my role here.  I aim to teach Alvin’s at-risk youth their potential for emotional health and balance.

I also help students and parents decide on career paths and endorsements so that students can graduate with a light at the end of the tunnel and some direction.  I hope to help students evolve into adults with inner peace and the ability to find happiness in the little things. I also hope to help them see their inner strength and the amazing journey and purpose in their lives.

Please feel free to contact me if you feel ASSETS is a good fit for your child.  There is an application process, and I would be more than happy to guide you through. I’m extremely proud to work for Alvin ISD and its community and families.

This is going to be a great year for you…speak it and put it in the universe!  In case it isn’t, my door is open for you.

    Summer School Information

ASSETS students interested in summer school for either initial credit or credit recovery will need to register for summer school at the high school they are zoned for.  Please visit either AHS, MHS or SCHS web page to see further information and to print out the registration form. Or, you can see Ms. Lee and get a form.  There is a cost to receive credit in summer school.

Also, students needing STAAR tutoring and STAAR retesting this summer will need to register for EOC remediation at their zoned high school. STAAR remediation is free of charge and recommended if students have not been successful on testing.
