I am ecstatic to begin my third year at E.C. Mason and continue our strong history of high achievement.  Previously I was at Dr. James “Red” Duke Elementary, where I was the Assistant Principal.  My past experiences as an Elementary Curriculum Director, Literacy Coordinator, Reading Recovery Teacher, and a second grade teacher have provided me with an extensive knowledge of elementary curriculum.

As a former Assistant Principal at E.C. Mason, I have a vast understanding of the school and the community in which it serves.  I have continued to enjoy being part of this high-performing culture, providing educational experiences for the students that nourish their love of learning and prepares them for accomplishing their goals in life.

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree and went on to earn a Master’s in Education Administration from the University of Houston Clear Lake. 

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family which includes my 3 children, their spouses, and a beautiful granddaughter.  I also volunteer with a variety of community organizations.
