Due to the instructional days missed during the winter storm, Alvin ISD had decided to cancel the Remote Learning Day that was scheduled for March 24, 2021. Face-to-face students will now attend their regular classes on campus that day and AVL students will attend their regular virtual classes. Thank you for understanding.

Pre-Kindergarten (Half-Day Programs)
7:45 am - 11:05 am & 12:05 pm - 3:25 pm
Elementary (PK-5)
7:45 am - 3:25 pm
Early Release: Elementary - 11:30 am
Students who miss any part of the instructional day will need to notify our registrar in writing within 3 school days of the absence. Parent & doctor notes are accepted. -
Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
ARRIVAL
We encourage parents to use both the south-side and front entrances to keep the arrival car line moving quickly.
Students may enter and go straight to their classrooms at 7:30.
Students who need to eat breakfast may go to the cafeteria.
For safety, please remain in your vehicle to keep the flow of traffic moving. If your child needs assistance, please allow our friendly staff assist your child at drop off.
DISMISSAL
Students will dismiss from their classrooms to designated locations depending on their mode of transportation.
All transportation changes must be emailed to your child's teacher before 3:00pm.

Attendance
Regular school attendance is crucial for student learning. Absences can disrupt the student’s ability to master skills and concepts taught in class. Parents and students need to make every effort to be on time and in school daily. Alvin ISD requires written documentation for absences.
