    About Me
     I transferred literature college credits from the University of Valley (Cali-Colombia) to the University of Houston, where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Social Sciences(Major Spanish). In 2019, I obtained an MLA master's degree in Spanish from the University of St. Thomas. I have been teaching since 2002, instilling in the new generations of American students sensitivity to foreign cultures. In addition, to learn a second language and be well prepared for the new global economy. To facilitate the learning of Spanish, I integrate technology into my teaching strategies. I enjoy teaching and maintain high standards for all my students. I can bring out the best in my students and motivate them to become life-long learners. My practical experience, dedication, and enthusiasm for teaching are contagious throughout the Manvel HS community.
    Teaching is not my profession, it is my vocation!
