Licensed Paramedic MS Education for Healthcare Providers

Ms. Shannon Graham

My name is Shannon Graham. I teach Principles of Health Science and Health Science Theory here at Alvin High School. Although this is my first year teaching for Alvin ISD, I have been an educator since 2008.

Prior to becoming a full-time educator, I served as a combat medic in the United States Army from 1997-2001. After coming home from service, I obtained my Associates degree in Emergency Medical Services and began practicing as a civilian paramedic. I am still a practicing paramedic for 2 local EMS services in Brazoria County.

I received my Associates degree from Brazosport College, my Bachelors degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, and my Masters degree from Texas A&M University College Station.

My hobbies include going to Astros games, sprint car racing, Muay Thai, boxing, and fishing.

Fun fact: My daughter is a paramedic also!

I am looking forward to an exciting 2022-2023 school year!
