My name is Mrs. Wood. I grew up in League City and currently live in Friendswood. I am married and have twin 14 year old boys.I have been married for 16 years and my husband is also a teacher. He teaches 4th grade ELA in Clear Creek ISD. My sons are freshman at Clear Brook High School also in CCISD. This will be my 2nd year teaching at Nolan Ryan Jr High. Prior to teaching, I sold insurance for Allstate for 17 years. I chose to make the career change to have time with my family. Time is something you never get back and I treasure every moment with my family. This summer I traveled to Nashville Tennessee. We visited the Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, The Grand Ole Opry, Country Music Hall of Fame and watched so my fabulous bands play music. 

I look forward to working with my new students this year. I have always had a love for math and I am excited to share that with all of my students.

Fun Fact: I have twins. My dad was an identical twin. And my cousin also has twins.
